Ubiquiti introduces the UniFi Enterprise 7 (E7) — a groundbreaking Wi-Fi 7 access point lineup for businesses, featuring three models:
UniFi E7,
UniFi E7 Campus
UniFi E7 Audience
These high-performance devices offer strong long-range connectivity in the 6 GHz band and support ultra-fast 10-gigabit speeds. Designed for a variety of business environments and user needs, the E7 series delivers maximum flexibility and performance. Ubiquiti’s unique PRISM technology — an advanced radio frequency filtering system — ensures minimal interference and top-tier Wi-Fi quality, taking enterprise networks to the next level.
UniFi Enterprise 7 (E7)
The UniFi E7 is Ubiquiti’s first square-design access point since the original UniFi AC in 2013. It features two Ethernet uplink ports for improved reliability — a primary 10GbE port and a backup 1GbE port, both capable of powering the device in case of cable failure.
It supports 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands, with a maximum throughput of 11.5 Gbps using a 320 MHz channel on 6 GHz. The device features 2x2 MIMO for 2.4 GHz and 4x4 MIMO for both 5 GHz and 6 GHz, offering a total of 10 spatial streams, ideal for high-density environments. Ubiquiti claims it can support up to 1000 wireless clients simultaneously.
The E7 is also equipped with a dedicated spectrum analyzer to enhance auto-channel selection and supports AFC technology for extended range on the 6 GHz band.
Key Features:
10 WiFi 7 streams with 6 GHz support - up to 185 m² (2000 ft²) coverage.
Support 1000+ devices simultaneously with guaranteed connection stability.
10 GbE uplink with PoE and redundant GbE port for high fault tolerance.
Extended 6 GHz bandwidth and real-time spectrum analysis for network optimization.
UniFi Enterprise 7 Campus
The UniFi E7 Campus represents a new evolution in the UniFi AP form factor, offering a unique pole or wall mount that allows for precise signal direction. Like the E7, the E7 Campus supports Wi-Fi 7, can support up to 1,000 devices simultaneously, and includes a dedicated spectrum analyzer for improved performance.
However, the E7 Campus has some special features that make it ideal for specific environments. It is fully waterproof with IPX6 and IP67 certification, as demonstrated in a video where the AP was submerged in a tank of water. It also includes a ball-and-socket mount for added stability and improved antenna gain.
The antennas feature 9 dBi gain at 2.4 GHz and 12 dBi at 5 GHz and 6 GHz, significantly higher than the E7, which has 5 dBi and 6 dBi, respectively.
Additionally, the E7 Campus includes the PRISM RF filtering chip that Ubiquiti has been using in its Rocket devices since 2016. This adds even more performance and quality of operation in dense and noisy RF environments, which certainly improves the overall efficiency of the access point.
Key Features:
Rugged IP67 rated housing - designed for outdoor use.
PRISM™ Active RF Filtering - reduces radio interference up to 1000 times.
High-gain directional antennas - provide a stable signal even in densely populated areas.
Full WiFi 7 support and the ability to connect up to 1000 devices simultaneously.
UniFi Enterprise 7 Audience (E7-Audience)
Finally, the E7 Audience. It has the same design as the UWB-XG that launched years ago. Like that AP, this AP forgoes 2.4GHz and instead focuses on 5GHz and 6GHz for really dense deployments.
This AP can handle 1,500 connected devices, has 12 spatial streams, PRISM filtering, and a beamforming antenna for customizing cell sizes. Like the other APs, this one also has two Ethernet ports, one 10GbE and one 1GbE for failover if needed. Like the UWB-XG, it’s also powered by PoE++.
The main advantages of the UniFi Enterprise 7 Audience (E7-Audience) over its predecessor are support for the new Wi-Fi 7 standard, which significantly increases data rates, and the ability to use a spectrum analyzer to optimize coverage and performance.
Like all Enterprise Series access points, the E7-Audience features two RJ45 ports: one with 10 GbE throughput and PoE support, and a spare with 1 GbE throughput, also supporting PoE. The device is specifically designed for high-density user scenarios. To this end, Ubiquiti has implemented PRISM™ RF filtering technology, previously used in the AirMAX 5AC Gen2 point-to-multipoint access points, to minimize interference and improve signal quality.
Key Features:
10 GbE uplink with PoE support — ideal for handling heavy network loads.
AFC mode and extended 6 GHz bandwidth — for greater signal coverage.
Custom antenna configuration — for uniform signal distribution.
IP67/IP68 enclosures — suitable for any conditions.
12 WiFi 7 streams — for increased speed and connection reliability.
Built-in antennas with adjustable beam width — to adapt to any conditions.
IP68 protection — ensures operation in harsh conditions.
Support for up to 1500 devices in one network.
